Mission

Saint Francis of Assisi Middle School is a Catholic parish school which aims to enable its young people to develop a sense of responsibility toward themselves and others in a lived Christian environment. We provide a Christian learning atmosphere which affirms each student as a child of God, created with unique talents and abilities. As educators, our primary responsibility is to address the intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each child and to work as a staff to meet these needs. Our school community strives to live the message of Saint Francis of Assisi by becoming instruments of the peace of Christ.

The Peace Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, the truth;
Where there is doubt, the faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
